This bracelet is a monster. It belongs to a man named Frank Gingerich who was a biker, a member of the Hells Angels and a vintage turquoise jewelry collector. This was his bracelet and he wore it. This bracelet has provenance.
It comes with its original receipt. It was purchased on December 6, 1975 for $525.00. That is a huge amount of money for 1975! These pieces are Chief's jewelry and have always commanded a good price.
This was old pawn when he bought it.
It is set with 74 natural turquoise stones from the same mine. The stones are embellished by twisted wire ropes and hand dropped raindrops.
The cuff measures 5 1/4" plus the opening of 1 3/4". It will fits a wrist that measures 7". It should never be bent to fit as it could loosen stones. The face measures 3 1/2" by 3". Weight: 93.6 grams.
It is not signed. It was not made for the tourist trade, but pawn.
